FALK PEPLINSKI

BIOGRAPHY

Editor* 1978 in Dresden, Germany.  Being an professional DJ for many years he trained in Visual and Audio Media Design, followed by work as editor for the public broadcaster MDR.  From 2003 to 2006 he lived in India working as chef editor in the Southeast Asian correspondent studio of ARD (German Television Network).  Since 2006, he has been enrolled at the Filmakademie Baden-Wuerttemberg in Ludwigsburg.  He lives in Frankfurt am Main.

As a filmmaker Falk earned recognition with the first short film ANALOG BROTHER he had produced at the Baden-Wuerttemberg filmacademy.  The film won the price as best experimental film of a filmschool at the 17 Semana de Cine Experimental Madrid in November 2007.  It was also selected for the 10th edition of NEXT GENERATION, a short film program created by German Films which premiered within the framework of the Cannes Film Festival and was shown all over the world.
